Remote Learning – 5th & 6th Class, 22nd-26th February

Dear Parents & Pupils

I hope that you are all well and that you enjoyed a few days rest over the mid-term break.  A plan of work for 22nd to 26th February in daily timetable format has now been emailed to you. As always please do what you can and reduce or extend your child’s work to ensure it is suitable for their needs and ability.

There will be another two Zoom classes next week, one on Tuesday 23rd February for Irish and the other on Thursday 25th February for English debating & novel discussion at 2.15pm on both days. As always the final part of each Zoom class will be set aside for Questions & Answers the pupils may have on any of their work. I implore you to please encourage your child to attend the Debating class on Thursday 25th. The success of this task is only possible with pupil involvement from both classes. Feel free to join in to listen to the pupils put forth their arguments and applaud their efforts!

Thank you all for your continued engagement and participation on Seesaw. It is simply fantastic to see all of the hard work the children are doing. Reminder: Please make sure pictures of written work are clear for me to be able to read and correct. Please also ensure the photo is placed the right way around and it is enlarged before sending as I cannot change it on my end once it is sent.

In the event that some pupils are getting through their school work and the activities on Seesaw quickly, attached to your email is a list of extension activities for their engagement if they wish in all subject areas.

As always if you have any questions, queries or feedback, don’t hesitate to contact me on my email address.

Have an enjoyable week everyone and I hope to see you all soon!

Mrs Campbell
