We were very busy on Friday 1st February in Ms. Atkinson’s room making St. Brigid’s Crosses to celebrate St. Brigid’s Day. St. Brigid’s Crosses are made from woven rushes, and are thought to keep evil, fire and hunger from the homes in which they are displayed.
