What a fun packed and exciting final term we had in 5th and 6th class!
The girls participated in the Cumann na mBunscol school league and we were all very proud of their outstanding efforts where skill combined with teamwork heightened performances in all games played. Well done girls!
Lots of very persuasive arguments filled our classroom as the pupils worked hard on planning and delivering debates on a variety of contentious motions. In Maths we engaged in a number of probability experiments. In SESE the pupils learned a lot about Ethiopia from their research and superb projects together with investigating the properties of materials in Science.
We thoroughly enjoyed our senior school tour to the zoo where the sun was shining and treasured memories were made.
In SPHE we learned all about fire safety with a visit from our local fire officers. Seeing the fire engine and trying out the hose were the fun parts of this valuable learning!
One of the highlights of this final term was undoubtedly our Business Enterprise Projects which taught the pupils about entrepreneurship, teamwork, money management and creativity.
