Sports Day took place on Friday 2nd June and proved to be a huge success. The children took part in a number of relays, games and circuit stations. It was an active and fun-filled day for all!

Conor Mc Skeane Memorial Cup 2017
The Conor Mc Skeane Memorial Cup took place this year on Tuesday 20th June in memory of the tragic and untimely death of Conor Mc Skeane who sadly passed away on December 10th 2007 while in First Class in Aughnafarcon N.S. First Holy Communion 2018
The 5th of May 2018 was a momentous occasion for the first communicants in St.Michael’s N.S. The community of Donaghmoyne gathered together with pride to watch these twelve children (four girls and eight boys) make their First Holy Communion. The children’s participation on the day, combined with their artwork to decorate the Church made it truly memorable for all.
The school choir also enhanced the ceremony beautifully. This long anticipated day was a huge success. Well done to the first communicants and to their families for all their hard work on the journey that led to this day. Heartfelt thanks to our officiating priest, Father Daly, and to all those involved.
Aldi Rugby
Our senior boys took part in the Aldi Rugby this year. Dedication, hard work and good team play under the guidance of their coaches, certainly had its reward. The boys successfully made it through all rounds of the competition and the ultimate success lay in the team being chosen to play in the Aviva Stadium on 26th April. The highly esteemed Paul O’Connell was present to greet the team and their supporters! This was an astonishing achievement for the boys together with their coaches, families and the school that will be held in high regard for many years to come. (more…)

School Tour 2017
On Thursday the 22nd of June excitement and anticipation mounted as we travelled to Just 4 Fun Kids Camp in Blanchardstown. The children took part in a medley of activities such as Air Mountain, Disco Dome, Wrecking Ball, Obstacle Course, Stuck in the Mud, Bulldog, Rounders and Dodgeball both indoors and outdoors and they thoroughly enjoyed their day. Halloween 2016
Everyone had a spooktacular time this Halloween in Our School. Take a look at our wonderful costumes and the fun we had! We all put in a special effort to raise much needed funds for temple street – well done all on your fabulous efforts on the day! We also held an Halloween-themed active day in keeping with our Active School Campaign. Have a look at some of the things we got up to and also our fantastic fancy dress winners!

Junior Infant’s First Day 2016
On Monday the 26th of June, most of the new pupils that will be joining us in September came for a tour of their new school. They met the staff, visited their new classroom, had a look around the school and got a certificate to mark the occasion.
We look forward to meeting our new Junior Infants again as they start their journey in primary school in September.
