Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Junior and Senior Infants!
Crazy Hair Day
The boys and girls had great craic on Friday 9th February for our ‘Crazy Hair Day’. A huge well done to everyone for taking part!
St. Brigid’s Day
Our infants learned all about St. Brigid this February, and made their own St. Brigid’s crosses. Well done everyone!
Term 1 in Junior and Senior Infants
What a wonderful first term our infants have had. The children have settled in really well to school life and we are so proud of them! Here are just a few things we have gotten up to over the past number of months..
The children have taken part in many fun and engaging P.E. lessons.
The children got creative during our aistear lessons.
The boys and girls have had a great time learning to read.
We visited St. Lastra’s Church and went on a walk around the area to find signs of Autumn.
And finally, we made yummy rice krispie buns as a Halloween treat!
Maths Week in Infants 2023
Our infants were very busy using their mathematical skills during Math’s Week 2023. Have a look at what we got up to…
We played snakes and ladders in pairs.
We created beautiful pattern socks.
We learned all about time and made our own watches.
We studied shadows, as well as shape and space, by designing chalk drawings in the yard.
Halloween 2023
A huge well done to all of the boys and girls who took part in ‘Trick or Treat for Sick Children 2023’. We raised an amazing €267.30 for this very worthy cause and had great fun in the process!
Summer in Junior and Senior Infants
Our infants have been very busy leading up to the Summer holidays! Junior and senior infants decided to arrange a few ‘fun days’ in celebration of all of their hard work this year. The children decided on the activities themselves and what a fun-filled week we have had as a result!
We had a ‘show and tell’ session, where the children brought in one special toy from home to show their friends.
We had a ‘pyjama and popcorn’ day where the children got to relax with a movie and some treats!
The children were delighted with a surprise visit from the ice cream van during our ‘ice cream day’.
We had a bubble party in the sunshine!
We made yummy pizzas for our lunch.
And finally, we went to Donaghmoyne Park for a teddy bears picnic! The children (and teddies) had great fun enjoying their lunch in the sunshine and playing with their friends in the park!

School Disco
On Friday 9th June the children were delighted to attend our first ever school disco arranged by our student council. The student council organised disco lighting, the playlist and of course some disco accessories for each student. The photobooth was a particular hit with the students – have a look at the photos below!!
Sports Day 2023
On Thursday 8th June we travelled to Donaghmoyne Fontenoys GAA club for our annual Sports Day. The children (and teachers) had great fun taking part in various races and stations. A huge thank you to our past pupils who helped organise the day. Well done everyone!
